The Head of YouTube Music Partnerships will lead and manage a high-performing team of music partner managers across Korea and Greater China, shaping and executing commercial business strategies for the region.
Requirements
- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management within the music, digital content, or technology industries
- Experience in a leadership role, managing teams and working with executives in the music industry
- Experience with commercial agreements, digital music licensing agreements, agreements and support of multi-territorial licensing entities
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Korean to engage with clients in the region
- Preferred qualifications: MBA or JD
- 5 years of experience of leading a team and also with people management
- Experience in Korea and Greater China entertainment ecosystem, including music copyrights and financial models
- Experience influencing and negotiating with cross-functional teams and internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to navigate vertically integrated markets and regulatory challenges (e.g., regulatory shifts)
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region
