Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer position at GoTo, working remotely or in Bangalore, focusing on building scalable data pipelines and optimizing data quality, governance, and security.

Requirements

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using PySpark, SQL, Airflow, and Databricks/AWS services.
  • Develop and maintain data models for structured and semi-structured datasets.
  • Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices across data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists to operationalize machine learning models in production.
  • Automate workflows, monitoring, and performance tuning to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, making recommendations on scaling, cost optimization, and tool selection.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in data engineering and MLOps.
