Assistant Marketing Manager, GrabMaps & Special Projects

Role Overview

The Assistant Marketing Manager will support the GrabMaps marketing workstream and strategic special projects in the Petaling Jaya, Malaysia office. The role will assist in executing product marketing initiatives, go-to-market planning, and demand generation activities for GrabMaps, while also contributing to emerging technology and new business initiatives across Grab.

The Assistant Marketing Manager will support campaign execution, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help establish strong market presence while supporting innovation and business expansion efforts.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in B2B, technology, SaaS, product marketing, or a related field
• Experience planning and executing integrated marketing programmes across content, demand generation, digital channels, CRM, and events
• Experience developing product marketing fundamentals, including customer segmentation, positioning, messaging, value propositions, launch plans, and sales enablement
• The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear customer and business benefits
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with GIS, mapping technology, or location-based services (preferred)
• Experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows, and contribute new ideas (preferred)
• Strong ability to manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively at all levels, with demonstrated capability to work collaboratively in cross-functional team environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
