Role Overview
This co-op will help the Finance team use AI to work more efficiently and accurately. Over six months, you’ll learn how finance and accounting processes work, identify opportunities to improve them, and help design and implement solutions using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Python, SQL, and financial platforms.
What You Will Do
Automate recurring finance tasks with AI workflows, map finance work, connect financial platforms, build automation with human review steps, and support AP and AR directly.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You’ll be the resident expert on AI and finance, teaching the team and helping them work more efficiently. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on special projects and analyze financial data for trends and exceptions.
Requirements
- Knows where AI output needs checking and where it can be trusted
- Can explain technical work clearly to people who don’t code
- Strong spreadsheet skills (Google Suite); finance exposure a plus
- Diligent documentation and task management; excellent communication
- Works well independently and on a team
- Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and REST APIs
