Business Intelligence Analyst

Role Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be part of our Enterprise Applications BI/Analytics Team and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Power BI platform.

What You Will Do

Create innovative reports, views, dashboards, scorecards, visualizations, and mobile analytics apps using Power BI and Power Platform.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI
• 2+ years of experience with data preparation, data gateways, and data warehousing projects
• Strong data-testing skills using SQL
• Fundamental SQL knowledge pertaining to data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization
• Advanced knowledge of dimensional modeling, DAX, Power Query, and Power BI visualization best practices
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts and ELT/ETL fundamentals
• Familiarity with Azure data services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, or equivalent cloud technologies
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Service administration, workspace management, security, scheduled refreshes, and gateway configuration
• Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions
• Experience prototyping, designing, developing, and supporting interactive dashboards and reports
• Experience working with business stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and data-validation criteria
• Ability to design repeatable, maintainable, and scalable analytics solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
