Role Overview
This role is Head of Sales who’s accountable for sales strategy, revenue, team management, processes, distribution partners relation, channels development and competition strategy for top-tier audio brands. The position will manage a sales team consisting of 5 to 7 direct reports. The Head of Sales will consult with the GM and support by sales manager to define and drive the Japan sales strategy—revenue growth priorities, competitive positioning, and long-term channel expansion.
What You Will Do
The Head of Sales will own annual commercial planning, including pricing, promotion, and investment decisions that maximize profitable growth. They will expand national retail penetration and store coverage, elevating brand presence across key accounts and distribution networks. The Head of Sales will also develop and manage sales budget, improve work processes, and conduct project management.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of sales management experience in CE/Telco/IT/Digital/Household appliance industry, be familiar with sales/product/channel management, and have multi-national company experience. They will also have good computer operating skills, good spoken and written English and Japanese, and be willing to have domestic and international travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Over 10 years of sales management experience in CE/Telco/IT/Digital/Household appliance industry
- Familiar with sales/product/channel management
- Multi-national company experience
