Position Overview

HMP Global is seeking a Manager, Sales Operations to lead the execution and optimization of post-sale operations for the Psychiatry Sales division.

This role is responsible for ensuring that sold programs—across live events, digital offerings, and sponsorships—are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations. The Associate Director will oversee sales operations processes, manage CRM and operational systems, and drive continuous improvements in how client assets, contracts, and deliverables are fulfilled.

Reporting to the AVP of Sales, this individual will manage a Sales Operations Assistant Manager and serve as the central point of accountability for operational execution, with a focus on reducing administrative burden on the sales team and improving overall delivery quality.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong attention to detail, process rigor, and operational problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Post-Sale Execution & Delivery

  • Oversee execution of all sold programs, ensuring contracts, assets, and deliverables are fulfilled accurately and on time
  • Interpret complex client agreements and translate them into clear internal execution plans
  • Ensure alignment between sales, event operations, and marketing teams on deliverables
  • Maintain accountability for timelines, asset collection, and fulfillment quality

Sales Operations Management

  • Lead day-to-day sales operations, including contract processing, tracking, and documentation workflows
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of sales data within tracking systems
  • Oversee pipeline hygiene as it relates to execution readiness (not sales generation)
  • Manage and develop the Sales Operations Manager

Systems & Tools Optimization

  • Own and optimize usage of key platforms: HubSpot, Map Your Show, PowerBI, Swoogo, and Hubilo
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual administrative work
  • Improve integration and consistency across systems used for sales tracking and event execution
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to implement system enhancements

Process Improvement & Efficiency

  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies in post-sale workflows and implement scalable solutions
  • Standardize processes for asset collection, tracking, and delivery
  • Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure consistency across programs
  • Introduce automation and tooling where appropriate to increase team efficiency

Reporting & Visibility

  • Partner with leadership to provide visibility into execution status, risks, and operational bottlenecks
  • Track and report fulfillment and operational performance
  • Ensure clear communication of program status across stakeholders

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Event Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Act as the operational bridge between what is sold and what is delivered
  • Support onsite execution of key events as needed

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred)

Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in sales operations, event operations, or a related execution-focused role
  • Experience managing or mentoring direct reports preferred
  • Strong experience with sales/event systems (Map Your Show, Cvent, Cadmium)
  • Experience working in environments with complex deliverables (events, media, sponsorships, or healthcare preferred)

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel for conferences approximately 4–6 times per year

  • Reduced administrative burden on sales team
  • Strong adoption and effective use of core systems (HubSpot, MYS, Swoogo, etc.)
  • Increased visibility into execution status and fewer last-minute issues

Location: Hybrid (Malvern, PA or East Windsor, NJ – 3 days in-office/2 days work from home) or Remote (based on your proximity to our office locations)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Commensurate with experience
