Senior Financial Analyst

Role Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, monitoring budgets, and providing insights to support business decisions and improve overall financial performance.

What You Will Do

Develop and maintain reports, coordinate with department leaders to develop annual budgets, monitor actual performance against established budgets and forecasts, and perform scenario analysis to assess financial impact of changes in production volumes, labor requirements, pricing, product mix, or other operating variables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Four to six years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related discipline
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, and financial modeling
• Demonstrated ability to independently develop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex Excel-based reports and financial models
• Experience preparing recurring management reports, analyzing financial and operational performance, and explaining significant variances
• Experience supporting or coordinating budgets, financial forecasts, and FP&A activities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, meet recurring reporting deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate financial results to non-financial business partners
• Proficiency in working with ERP systems and extracting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets
