Data Platform Operations Engineer

HP is seeking an experienced Data Platform Operations Engineer to lead efforts in building a robust data ecosystem for the HP Digital Enablement organization. The role will also work strategically to align Data Governance, Quality, Privacy, and Cybersecurity initiatives at the organizational level.

Requirements

• Leads all stages of design and development for complex, secure, and high‐performance data solutions and models
• Reviews and evaluates data pipelines and engineering activities for compliance with architecture, security, and quality guidelines and standards
• Builds standards, designs, and automates the deployment of data products in cloud environments
• Ensures and maintains a high level of operational efficiency by using tools to monitor system performance
• Designs and develops solutions that protect and manage cloud‐native applications and data
• Contributes to technology strategy and engineering roadmaps for cloud platforms and executes strategic engineering proof‐of‐concepts on those platforms
• Delivers best‐practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and technical presentations
• Drives innovation and integrates new technologies into projects and activities in the big data space
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members
