FP&A Controller (Risk Management Focus)

Role Overview

As an FP&A Controller, you will ensure that risk assessment is reflected in all financial reporting and planning processes, and present it regularly and transparently to the Management. You will build and maintain sensitivity models, develop various scenarios in the financial planning processes, and create risk dashboards and early warning indicators across all management reporting.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will be to build and implement a risk management framework across the full value chain, integrate it into all financial planning processes, and maintain regular risk reporting to CFO and senior leadership.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for a candidate with strong technical skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience in the use of risk evaluation methodologies. You will participate in the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes, and prepare budget, forecast presentations, and ad-hoc analyses for Top Management and Shareholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Controlling or Finance
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in Group or Corporate Controlling, in particular FP&A and/or Risk Management in multinational companies, preferably in the renewable energy industry
• Experience in the use of risk evaluation methodologies
• Strong technical skills in MS Office, in particular Excel incl. add-ins and PowerPoint
• Understanding of integrated ERP systems, e.g. Navision Dynamics/Business Central or SAP
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools (e.g. Lucanet) and financial planning/modelling tools
• Proficiency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal; German skills are advantageous
• Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills
• Change management skills would be an advantage
