Business Development Representative – Outside Sales

Role Overview

ServiceMaster of Charleston is seeking a Business Development Representative to build a territory and develop a powerful professional network in the Charleston market. This outside sales role focuses on creating relationships with insurance professionals, property managers, and contractors to generate restoration opportunities. The position offers the entrepreneurial experience of building a book of business without the responsibilities of running operations.

What You Will Do

You will prospect and develop new referral relationships throughout the Charleston market, meeting business owners and professionals face-to-face. You’ll build and manage your own network of qualified accounts, learn how prospective partners handle restoration opportunities, and identify where ServiceMaster can solve problems. You’ll follow up consistently, maintain existing relationships, and manage your pipeline through CRM.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role is ideal for someone with entrepreneurial drive who wants autonomy, responsibility, and financial upside tied to their production. Sales experience is valuable but hunger, discipline, confidence, and coachability matter more. You’ll receive a competitive base salary with uncapped commission potential, structured training, and ongoing coaching. The pay range is $45,000-$87,000.
