The role involves developing and maintaining high-quality datasets, collaborating with engineers, and leading initiatives on data quality, observability, and model optimization. Requirements
- Transforming, testing, and documenting data while maintaining a robust data lineage
- Knowledge of data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques
- Experience following software engineering best practices like version control and continuous integration
- Proficiency in SQL in cloud data warehouses (Snowflake) and performance optimization, data partitioning, and window functions
- Experience with dbt for data transformation layer
- Experience with BI tooling such as Power BI or Looker
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
