Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

Role Overview

The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis will have broad financial planning, management reporting, analysis, and business partnership responsibilities. The role will serve as the primary finance business partner for Research & Development, owning planning, forecasting, and reporting for the clinical development portfolio and partnering closely with the respective business leaders.

What You Will Do

The individual will own development and monitoring of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and month-end reporting of actual results for Research & Development, support the CFO with comprehensive multi-year strategic, financial plan, and lead the R&D quarterly forecast cycle.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, and/or consulting roles
• Highly motivated with a solutions-oriented, can-do attitude
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills in a virtual working environment
• Strong learning agility, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel and complex modeling skills
• Ability to distill complex models and analysis into simple, impactful take-aways
• Ability to meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing results
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and develop solutions for new problems as they arise
• BA or BS degree required
