AI Operations Engineer

Role Overview

Join IP Fabric as an AI Operations Engineer to own the AI Gateway, add new models, and improve AI usage and spend visibility across tools. You will work in a small AI team and advise colleagues across the company on security and data governance.

What You Will Do

Own the AI Gateway, deploy and serve open-source models, aggregate AI spend, make repositories agent-ready, support engineers, and contribute to AI features in the IP Fabric product.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You will need strong production engineering skills, experience with AI coding agents, and practical experience integrating APIs and handling authentication, rate limits, and failures across system boundaries.

Requirements

• Professional experience building and maintaining production software
• Sound design, testing, and debugging skills
• Python is our main backend language
• Daily, hands-on use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex
• Practical experience integrating APIs and handling authentication, rate limits, and failures across system boundaries
• Clear written and spoken English
