IRIUM is an innovative and growing company with opportunities for professional development, looking for a Senior Data Ops Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in data operations, cloud architecture, and programming languages such as Python or Java.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as DataOps Engineer or similar role covering the most of required skills
- Expertise with databases (Redshift, Aurora, DynamoDB)
- Expertise in Cloud architecture and key technologies (S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, Managed Airflow, Athena, etc)
- Expertise of infrastructure-as-code tools (CDK, CloudFormation)
- Expertise with advance AWS Networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink) and securing network configuration.
- Experience in at least one of the programming languages such as Python, Java
- Expertise Test Driven Development (TDD) and testing practices to ensure functionality, security and performance.
- Expertise in system integration using variety of techniques (REST API, SQS, SNS, Kinesis)
- Expertise in modern development tools and practices (e.g. CI/CD, DevOps, Observability, Pair Programming)
- Expertise in choosing and applying design patterns and best practices
- Developing software with scale, security and reliability in mind
