Data Analyst

Role Overview

The Data Analyst will play an important part in turning certification-related data into meaningful insights and supporting data-driven decision-making across ISCC. The role involves analysing, cleaning and interpreting data in close collaboration with subject matter experts and data engineers.

What You Will Do

The main duties will be extracting, cleaning, transforming and analysing certification-related data to support colleagues in data-driven decision-making, identifying trends, patterns, inconsistencies and data quality issues, and facilitating and participating in data quality initiatives.

Requirements

• University degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, business, economics, sustainability, environmental science, or another relevant field
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a comparable data-related role
• Demonstrated experience working with relational databases and extracting data using SQL
• Proficiency in cleaning and analysing data in Excel
• Excellent data analysis, data cleaning and problem-solving skills
• Experience coordinating or contributing to data quality and data analysis projects
• Excellent English skills (at least C1-level, written and spoken) and very good German (at least B2 level) skills
• Strong communication, project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data-related topics into practical solutions
• Good understanding of sustainable supply chains and an interest in sustainability-related topics
• Experience with one or more scripting languages and with FileMaker is an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and a structured, solution-oriented approach
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues from different teams and areas of expertise
• Interest in data-driven process improvements, digitalisation and technology
