Senior Financial Analyst-EP Sci Affairs

Role Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for tracking the organization’s financial performance and offering financial guidance to Scientific Affairs business partners. They will ensure that financial commitments are met by advising Scientific Affairs teams in budget management and resource allocation while proactively identifying opportunities to optimize expenditures and investments.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include supporting financial forecasting and closing, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders, analyzing complex financial data to identify opportunities and influence strategic business decisions, and preparing and presenting financial results to leadership.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of finance, accounting or related business experience
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in Accounting, Economics or Finance
  • Strong analytical skills (particularly in MS Excel)
  • Excellent conceptual, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Effective communication, framing presentation skills along with solid interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic environment and recommend and implement process improvements
