Role Overview
Join a Global Leader in Sustainable Infrastructure and Industrial Refrigeration as a Business Development Manager for the Aftermarket. The role involves driving growth across the Gas Compression and Industrial Refrigeration portfolio throughout Australia and New Zealand.
What You Will Do
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities to achieve designated sales targets, lead the identification, development, and sale of gas compressor rebuild, overhaul, retrofit, and upgrade opportunities, and act as the technical authority throughout the sales process.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The successful candidate will be a qualified Mechanical or Chemical Engineer, or Senior Refrigeration Technician with a minimum of two years’ relevant industry experience and strong knowledge of gas compression systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering, or demonstrated competency in the industry.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in gas compression systems, industrial refrigeration, rotating equipment, or a related process industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of compressor technologies, thermodynamics, refrigeration systems, and rotating equipment.
- Demonstrated success in business development, technical sales, applications engineering, or solution development.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to develop opportunities from concept through to contract award.
