Business Development Manager

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for strategizing and implementing the BD strategy of Julphar, supporting the financial growth and development of the organization. The role holder will support the Business Development function by on-ground execution of strategic goals and introduce new revenue-generating opportunities.

What You Will Do

The Business Development Manager will analyze product distribution needs, propose effective and profitable distribution strategies, and initiate the registration of the brand in all countries. They will also follow up on project status, update, and prepare periodic reports for ongoing strategic projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy / Science/ Commerce
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration is highly an advantage
  • 8-10 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
  • 4 years of experience in Business Development Manager role in MEA & other geographies
  • Proven track record of successfully pitching for new business
  • Strong ability to present company and negotiate agreements
  • Strong working knowledge of Licensors, Distributor / Agents operations, Government accounts, tendering processes, contracting and pricing methods
  • Functional knowledge of the clinical aspects of the pharmaceutical industry, supply chain, dispensing requirements and drug distribution channels
