Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to support a high-growth CPG business and one of our most strategic, innovation-driven customers. This role will partner closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams to help drive profitable growth, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure strong execution across customer strategy, innovation, planning, and day-to-day business management.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include supporting Business Development leadership with customer relationship management, monitoring sales performance and business trends, developing and delivering customer and internal business performance reviews, contributing to customer strategy, and supporting Sam’s Club innovation and customer-specific projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of experience in the CPG industry with a focus on sales operations or project management
  • In-depth knowledge of Sam’s Club sales operations, including trade promotions, category management, and sales execution.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools (Excel, Power BI, Anaplan, Exceedra, or Quest).
  • Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth through strategic initiatives and trade marketing optimization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
