The People Operations Contractor is responsible for supporting key human resources functions, including administering employee benefits, managing leave of absence and workers’ compensation processes, and ensuring policy compliance through regular audits.
Requirements
- Administering benefits, leave of absence (LOA), and workers’ compensation processes.
- Reporting benefits plan information to upper management.
- Providing information to explain changes in benefits to employees and answering employee queries about benefits policies.
- Conducting audits of benefits packages and policies to ensure that the company’s processes are compliant.
- Strong service orientation, and an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with users, peers, office and firm management, and outside business partners
- Strong organizational skills, including effective documentation management and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing priorities and deadlines in a professional and positive manner
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong work ethic with willingness and ability to assume new tasks and responsibilities
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Gsuite apps
- 2+ years in an HR role
- Strong MS Excel skills
