Senior Customer Sales Analyst

The Senior Customer Sales Analyst is a vital internal sales position that delivers actionable business insights to support growth on the Walmart & Club team. The role partners cross-functionally with marketing, finance, retail, supply chain, and the Data team to ensure strong target delivery, clear performance routines, and continuous improvement of reporting and tools.

Requirements

• Lead the development of insight-driven presentations and narratives for internal and external audiences, translating complex data into clear implications and actions.
• Own and evolve core business routines (line review, post-event tracking, performance updates, SOPs), improving consistency, speed, and decision usefulness.
• Identify key volume drivers, diagnose performance shifts, and communicate prioritized opportunities/risks with recommended actions.
• Develop customer-specific selling stories that connect category insights, consumer/shopper behavior, and Kraft Heinz initiatives to commercial outcomes.
• Partner with field sales leads on regular category & business reviews, shaping agendas, insights, and follow-ups to drive growth.
• Ensure customer, consumer, and category insights are delivered on time with strong data accuracy, clear assumptions, and appropriate caveats.
• Analyze key merchandising events and provide actionable points of view on compliance, execution, consumption, and value; define what “good” looks like and track it.
• Serve as a go-to subject matter expert (or build toward it) in storytelling, visualization, data literacy, and analytical process; coach peers and entry-level analysts in these areas.
• Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to improve business-critical reporting and tool development; provide crisp requirements, testing feedback, and adoption support.
