Specialist II, Technical Revenue Accounting

CrowdStrike is looking for a Specialist – Technical Revenue Accounting. This role will involve managing end-to-end revenue recognition for SaaS subscriptions, supporting monthly revenue close activities, and performing contract modifications and SSP allocations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of revenue accounting principles under US GAAP and experience working with ERP systems and automation projects.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in accounting with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
  • CA preferred
  • High-tech publicly traded company experience related to revenue recognition accounting; under SOX internal control environment required and SaaS industry experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of ASC 606 required
  • In-depth understanding of GL accounting operations
  • Experience with NetSuite or another similar ERP system strongly desired
  • Experience with other data analysis applications (e.g., G sheet, Tableau, MS Office at medium to expert level, etc.)
