Data Engineer position at lastminute.com, a European Travel-Tech leader. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines and architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a data engineer
- Strong knowledge of SQL and cloud-based Big Data platforms like Google BigQuery
- Expertise in data modeling and developing and maintaining data transformation pipelines using tools like dbt
- Experience with workflow management engines such as Airflow
- Use Terraform/AWS CloudFormation to manage and automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, with a strong preference for Python
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
