Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will work to advance the firm’s litigation practices by developing and executing strategic marketing and business development initiatives. This role will work closely with practice leaders and key stakeholders to strengthen the firm’s market positioning and drive growth.

What You Will Do

Proactively identify and pursue new business development opportunities, lead pitch efforts, and manage opportunities from concept to submission. Conduct client, prospect, and market research, and support the successful integration of lateral hires into the firm.

Why It Might Be a Fit

At least five (5) years of experience in a similar role in a law firm or professional services firm required. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, or related field.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of experience in a similar role in a law firm or professional services firm
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, or related field
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Creative research skills
  • Meticulous writing, proofreading and data entry skills
  • Capacity to interpret data
  • Technological proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Copilot
  • InDesign skills a plus
  • Understanding of U.S. litigation terminology and framework
