Role Overview

The Licorne Society is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team in the Parisian region. The company is building a solid DATA team to face the main data challenges. The Data Engineer will be responsible for connecting and integrating different data sources, designing and developing ETL pipelines, and ensuring data quality and performance.

What You Will Do

The Data Engineer will identify and connect internal and external data sources, design and develop ETL pipelines, automate data feeding processes, and ensure data quality and performance. They will also collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and business teams to understand data needs and design adapted solutions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a data engineer, with mastery of data connectors, programming languages, databases, cloud environments, and streaming and orchestration technologies. They will be able to work closely with the team to understand data needs and design adapted solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a data engineer
  • Mastery of data connectors (ODBC, Rest API)
  • Mastery of programming languages (SQL, python)
  • Mastery of databases (MySQL, PosgreSQL, NoSQL) and their administration tools
  • Mastery of cloud environments and services (AWS or GCP)
  • Mastery of streaming and orchestration technologies (Kafka / Debezium, AirFlow, etc.)
