Role Overview
As a Financial Analyst, you will prepare, analyze and report on financial information and provide management with a financial perspective for the Corporate Development department. This includes rating agency surveys and presentations, capital models related to Lincoln’s capital management, recurring compliance and regulatory reporting regarding Lincoln’s capital position, and various ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis assignments.
What You Will Do
• Evaluating and maintaining capital models used in rating agency and regulatory reporting and communicating analysis to management. • Supporting recurring quarterly and annual compliance, regulatory, and rating agency reporting deliverables, including coordination with internal data owners and external sources. • Developing tools and dashboards to more efficiently deliver standard reports, illustrate complex concepts, or provide ad-hoc financial analysis.

- Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and critical thinking skills, identifying the appropriate resources and tools (including AI) to drive solutions where limited standardization may exist.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution.
- Demonstrated solid relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues).
- Demonstrates solid project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to review and validate outputs from automated or AI-assisted analytical tools to ensure accuracy prior to business use.
