Business Development Representative needed to drive revenue and build long-term client relationships for a growing provider of geomatics and technical field services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in generating and converting leads into revenue and a strong network of clients and industry contacts.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–10 years of business development or sales experience within geomatics, engineering, or civil construction
- Post-secondary education in business, geomatics, engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven history of generating and converting a high volume of leads into revenue
- Market intelligence and experience in major energy and infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of technical principles across surveying, materials testing, geotechnical engineering, and civil construction
- Established network of clients, partners, and industry contacts that can be leveraged to generate immediate opportunities
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proven experience developing proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft 365
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
- Strong commercial acumen, including pricing strategy, opportunity evaluation, and pipeline management
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven with a keen sense of accountability
