2026 MLB Data Operations (Seasonal)

MLB Data Operations personnel are responsible for digitally scoring games from MLB ballparks, which provides data for live content applications on MLB.com. This is a seasonal role that requires regular onsite attendance at the ballpark.

Requirements

• Arrive at the ballpark no later than one hour prior to the scheduled start time
• Double-check and verify all pre-game information: rosters, umpires, weather conditions, etc.
• Enter the results of every pitch and game event using proprietary software and coding language
• Work closely with game-night support staff to ensure proper scoring and accuracy of data
• Enter all post-game information and validate stats and data against the box score provided by the Official Scorer
• Routine day-to-day correspondence via email, Slack, voice call and/or text message
