The Account Executive ensures business retention and helps establish the growth strategy for the account team, coordinating and executing day-to-day customer service and quality account management.
Requirements
- Internationally recognized professional accounting qualification with public accounting experience (e.g. CPA, ACA, ACCA, CA)
- Minimum of 10 years’ recent experience building relationships with customers in an Account Management and/or Client Services role
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant and recent Captive management experience
- Relevant and recent experience in accounting, regulatory compliance, and insurance for captives
- Excellent knowledge of captive industry, investment and insurance accounting, regulatory environment, insurance, and risk management
- Recent experience in financial reporting under GAAP and IFRS as well as the insurance regulatory environment
- Expert knowledge of investment and insurance accounting
- Excellent knowledge of local regulations and procedures
- Experience with various captive policy structures
- Experience with Captive tax matters
- Relevant insurance and/or risk management qualification (ACII, CPCU, CIRM)
- Recent team supervisory or managerial experience
- Ability to lead client meetings
- Ability to provide training
- Self-motivated and capable of independently researching complex matters
