COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO)/ Tier II Network Technician (NE2) (Government)

Role Overview

Supports the intelligence community, providing, operating, and assuring critical voice, video, and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations. Coordinates all requests for the transfer/disposition of COMSEC material through the program leads. Creates & maintains a COMSEC file plan IAW specified retention instructions and an unclassified material delivery point.

What You Will Do

Perform CRO duties, including ensuring cryptographic equipment is keyed in accordance with the supporting key’s effective date, establishing a comprehensive, reoccurring training program for COMSEC users, and processing all transfer, destruction, & semiannual or change of CRO inventory paperwork in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and an acceptable driving record, and be eligible to drive an AT&T company vehicle. The candidate will be able to work independently and in a collaborative environment, and have soft skills such as customer briefings, highly organized, problem solving, and self-motivated.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education
  • Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2; level 3 certifications are acceptable as well
  • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
  • Eligible to drive an AT&T company vehicle
