Lead Data Engineer

Mastercard is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to test high-performance data pipelines and work with experienced engineers to solve challenging problems. The role involves test data pipeline using automated test framework and performing data analysis.

Requirements

  • 10 to 12 years of development and testing experience in Data Warehouse related projects
  • Expertise in ETL testing in end-to-end DW projects in Big Data environment using Spark
  • Experience of programming language like Java/ Python/ Unix scripting to build and enhance test automation framework
  • Experience of working with Databases like Oracle, Netezza and have strong SQL knowledge
  • Experience of working on Nifi will be an added advantage
  • Experience of working in Agile teams
  • Strong analytical skills required for doing data analysis and defect management process
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written – and strong relationship, collaboration skills and organisational skills
