Financial Analyst II

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst II supports the operations and senior leadership on all matters financial, providing in-depth, quantitative financial analysis of the business for the purpose of making better business decisions.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and issues on a consistent basis, creation of Power BI reports and dashboards, and various ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 3 years of financial analytical experience with broad P&L exposure, in a multi-site business, preferably in hospitality
• Working knowledge of Vena or Essbase and Power BI or Tableau (SQL) required
• Mastery of MS Excel skills – complex formulas and visual graphics
• Understanding of basic accounting
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong computer, verbal, and written skills
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate effectively
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
• Leadership and organizational skills (team orientation, flexible, adaptable)
• Intellectual curiosity – need to have a voice, not be afraid to ask questions to anyone (Executives to field leaders)
• Self-starter, able to multi-task, and work well under tight deadlines and high pressure
