Role Overview

Meratus Group seeks a high-calibre and experienced Business Development Analyst to support business development initiatives including organic (greenfield investment) and inorganic (M&A) growth. This role requires strong background in market research, data analysis, corporate finance, business/potential investment analysis, project/stakeholder management, and transaction/investment execution.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include research on potential industry, market size and growth, supply and demand, competitive landscape, location and infrastructure, labour and socio-economic, regulatory and legal, and financial models and business cases for investment projects. Additionally, you will support investment execution and post-investment monitoring, and lead transaction execution, due diligence coordination, and negotiation support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, CMA) are highly valued
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in big4 advisory service, consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or business development
  • Experience in shipping or logistics industry is an additional advantage
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken & written)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint
  • High attention to detail, curiosity, and ability to communicate efficiently
