Partner Data Scientist, Telco Partnerships

Role Overview

Meta’s Telco Partnerships team is seeking a Partner Data Scientist to work closely with telecommunications partners throughout EMEA to understand their business needs and challenges, and deliver value to them through insights. The role involves applying knowledge in quantitative business and/or network performance analysis/planning & data mining to bring actionable insights and recommendations to partners.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include working with market intelligence, developing business cases and analytics support, leveraging data analytics tools, and communicating complex issues to C-level executives.

Requirements

• BA/BS/BEng or higher degree with emphasis in either business and marketing, computer science, analytics, statistics, economics or equivalent degree/experience
• Experience in data science & analytics, working with clients and knowledge of data and insights
• Experience using AI to develop analysis and generate code, deck materials, and prototypes
• Experience in quantitative analysis, focused on goal focused business optimization problems in tech/telco space
• Experience working with large data-sets and an understanding of statistical analysis
• Fluency in SQL and scripting languages (Python is preferable)
• Project management experience, and experience of leading and executing multiple deadline driven projects with partners
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Experience in clarifying and summarizing complex issues for C-level executives
• Experience of driving action based on data focused insights
• Track record of making data-informed decisions with incomplete information and delivering structured, well-documented outcomes
• Experience using data insights and metrics to drive impact and action
