Assistant Vice President – Finance Operations

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President – Finance Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for preparation and review of reporting artefacts, driving continuous improvement, and supporting delivery of reporting transformation initiatives.

What You Will Do

You will prepare and review reporting artefacts, drive continuous improvement, and support the delivery of reporting transformation initiatives. You will also provide SME support to report stakeholders across Finance, Risk, and Business functions.

To be successful, you will need to be a qualified CA (Chartered Accountant), MBA (Finance) or Engineering degree holder with an interest in Financial Services. You will also need to have strong communication skills, excellent planning and organizational skills, and a good understanding of financial products and general accounting principles.

Requirements

• Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant), MBA (Finance) or Engineering degree
• Understanding of control frameworks and how to implement effective controls in practice
• Strong attention to detail and being solution oriented
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Good understanding of financial products and general accounting principles
• Excellent working knowledge of MS related products (PowerPoint, Excel)
• Working knowledge of Banking systems and understanding of relevant strategic/regulatory reporting framework (preferred but not essential)
