Data Scientist, Product Analytics, XBOX Growth

Role Overview

Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional business owners to improve XBOX experiences through data-driven decision making. This role helps teams understand player behavior, measure product performance, identify growth opportunities, and evaluate product investments.

What You Will Do

Work on high-impact product challenges across XBOX, help teams make better decisions through experimentation, measurement, forecasting, and behavioral analytics, and enable product teams to make more data-driven investment decisions.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field
• Master’s Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years data-science experience
• Experience using SQL and Python, R and agentic AI tools
• Experience applying experimentation, statistical analysis, forecasting, or product analytics techniques to business problems
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments
