Director AI Operations

Role Overview

The Director, AI Operations, plays a vital role in driving the AI transformation of the Customer & Partner Solutions (CPS) group in Microsoft’s Corporate, External & Legal Affairs (CELA) organization. This role requires a builder who can ship real capability, partner with engineering, and design with attorneys and paralegals.

What You Will Do

You will build the intelligence layer that shows CELA CPS what its AI investments are actually delivering, partner with engineering to keep the CPS technology stack healthy, and create agents, Scout capability, Copilot, and other AI solution prompts that open new scenarios for the business.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a strong background in project management, legal operations, or engineering, with experience in legal technology, legal operations, or a technical delivery role in a regulated or professional-services environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building on a CRM or matter-management platform, including configuration and customization, and demonstrated ability to work data end to end.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Law, Legal Operations or related field
• 6+ years experience in project management, legal operations, or engineering
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Law, Legal Operations or related field
• 8+ years experience in project management, operations, or engineering
