MineSense is looking for a Mining Data Analyst to join their Geosciences team in Chile, based in Iquique. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, a keen interest in data analysis within the mining industry, and exceptional communication and management skills. The role will involve working directly with clients at mining operations to integrate MineSense solutions into their ore control processes and ensure maximum value is generated from them.
Requirements
- Degree in Geology or Mining Engineering
- 7+ years of relevant experience in the mining industry, focusing on ore control or geo-mine-metallurgical planning
- Experience performing statistical data analysis or Data Science in a professional environment
- Proficiency in data management and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or other packages
- Strong attention to detail and interest in problem-solving
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
