We are looking for an experienced and passionate Medior Data Operations Expert (Databricks) to join our Digital Engineering Team. The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including the maintenance and monitoring of systems, assisting deployments, ensuring data security, and optimizing IT processes for reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- University or college degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Certifications in cloud computing or Databricks are a plus.
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark.
- Strong Python and PySpark skills for data processing and automation.
- Familiarity with Delta Lake architecture and ACID transactions.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Data Services and Databricks security/governance (Unity Catalog).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Databricks notebooks.
- Data pipeline monitoring & alerting
- Data quality checks & reconciliation
- DEV / TEST / PROD release support
