Data Operations Expert

We are looking for an experienced Data Operations Expert to join our Digital Engineering Team, responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Databricks-based data infrastructure.

Requirements

• University or college degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Certifications in cloud computing or Databricks are a plus
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark
• Strong Python and PySpark skills for data processing and automation
• Familiarity with Delta Lake architecture and ACID transactions
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Data Services and Databricks security/governance (Unity Catalog)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Databricks notebooks
• Data pipeline monitoring & alerting
• Data quality checks & reconciliation
• DEV / TEST / PROD release support
• Retail IT domain background is a plus
