Role Overview

As an Analytics Engineer at Mollie, you will be working on creating and maintaining critical data assets that enable Mollie to reconcile their books. This involves creating and maintaining solid dbt data models from raw source data to consumable mart tables.

What You Will Do

You will be working on creating and maintaining critical data assets that enable Mollie to reconcile their books. This involves creating and maintaining solid dbt data models from raw source data to consumable mart tables. You will also be working closely with engineers to understand the inner workings of Mollie’s money movements and, most importantly, get the correct data.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You will be working closely with engineers to understand how Mollie’s money movements work and make sure the data is correct. You will also be collaborating with Merchant Finance & Treasury to make sure they can do daily reconciliation in our BI tooling.

Requirements

• Strong technical foundation in SQL and Python
• Experience with data modelling and automation
• Strong experience with dbt
• Additional experience in BigQuery/GCP and Airflow is a plus
• Ability to zoom out and to zoom in to support implementation, often on the same day
• Skilled at stakeholder management, especially across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience in financial data and financial processes is a big plus
• Business-aware, impact-driven, and curious
