Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Business Development Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of Council’s economic development objectives through business engagement, project coordination, events, training programs and precinct activations.

What You Will Do

Support the delivery of economic development initiatives, coordinate and deliver business networking events, provide responsive advice and support to local businesses, build and maintain strong relationships with trader associations, business groups and government stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Degree qualification in Business, Economics, Commerce, marketing, Planning, Economic Development or related discipline
  • Proficient in maintaining administrative systems, web-based applications and Microsoft Software Applications
  • Knowledge of local government and Council processes and procedures
  • Current Victorian driver’s license preferred but not essential
