Data Engineer – Martech

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Data Engineer who can lead advanced analytics initiatives to transform how NAB evaluates and accelerates engineering delivery and operational excellence. This role is critical for NAB to move beyond traditional operational reporting toward richer analytics, introducing trend evaluation, scenario modelling, and predictive insights that inform strategic decision-making and uplift delivery maturity across the enterprise.

What You Will Do

Provide hands-on design, development, and deployment of data engineering technical solutions, collaborate with other NAB’s technology leaders, and standardize metrics and support reporting, analytics, and performance insights.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years in data engineering across large/complex datasets and operate pipelines at scale and integrating multiple source systems
• Strong hands-on skills in Python, Spark/Databricks/Snowflake, SQL, and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration and CI/CD for data and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Data modelling, quality, lineage (e.g., unit/integration tests, data contracts, anomaly detection); design for reliability and scale
• Ability to translate business needs (Domain/Tech metrics, governance) into technical deliverables
• Fluent English communication with extensive stakeholder management skills
