Role Overview
The Marketing Director will lead the marketing function for Charles Sturt University – Sydney and Melbourne campuses, shaping and executing integrated marketing strategies to drive brand growth, student recruitment, and revenue outcomes.

Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior marketing position
- Degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related discipline
- Extensive marketing experience, including senior leadership responsibility and accountability for strategy, campaigns, and performance outcomes
- Proven experience leading and developing a marketing team, with at least 5 years’ people leadership responsibility
- Strong understanding of paid digital channels, marketing technology systems, AI-enabled marketing practices, and the evolving digital landscape
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing integrated marketing and branding strategies that deliver measurable growth
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance academic and business priorities
- Experience working in complex, multi-site or matrix environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills
- High-level analytical capability with the ability to translate data and insights into clear strategic direction
- Demonstrated resilience in dynamic environments, with the ability to navigate shifting priorities, lead through change, and maintain positive team momentum
