Business/Data Analyst

Role Overview

The Business/Data Analyst will partner with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, analyze data, and present insights to senior stakeholders. The role is part of the Information Technology department, driving technology solutions to empower the business and enhance client experiences.

What You Will Do

The key responsibilities include analyzing data flows, reconciling discrepancies, and performing quality checks across source systems, as well as documenting data definitions and presenting analysis to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or similar analytical role
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets
• Working knowledge of a scripting/analytics language such as Python or R
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of accounting concepts and GL reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of data accuracy and integrity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
