Role Overview
The Data Analyst, Perkins Reporting will serve as the technical lead for data area procedures and policies for CTE related programming. The position will spend 70% of working time focused on Postsecondary Career and Technical (CTE) data processes and reporting. The analyst will work with institutions to submit data, troubleshoot errors, and provide guidance on data interpretation. The position will also provide data and analyses to fulfill ad hoc reporting requirements of the agency, legislature, governor, and public.
What You Will Do
The Data Analyst, Perkins Reporting will use SQL, Python, and R to extract, clean, merge, and validate HEI and non-HEI datasets. The analyst will develop reproducible scripts, automated processes, and documentation to support ongoing state and federal reporting. The position will also conduct research and analyze data from HEI and national higher education data sources.
