Role Overview
This is a high-energy sales role at the centre of Novanta’s Robotics and Automation business. You will own pipeline growth from first contact to close, working with customers who build advanced automation systems used across manufacturing, robotics and industrial technology.
What You Will Do
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across robotics and automation markets. Proactively contact prospective customers through phone, email and other outreach channels. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular, value-focused communication.

Requirements
- Sales capability
- Solid understanding of sales techniques, including cold calling and lead generation
- Comfortable discussing technical products with engineers and buyers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, clear, concise, and persuasive
- Results-driven with excellent time management and organisation
- Able to prioritise the few actions that drive the most revenue
- Uses metrics to track progress and guide decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Confident user of CRM tools and sales tracking systems
