As an Analyst, Retail, Nutrien Financial Planning & Analysis, assist in budgeting, planning, analysis, and reporting for the Nutrien Financial business segment. Develop and maintain reporting and variance analysis on key focus areas of the business. Collaborate on the execution of new strategic initiatives for Nutrien Financial. Maintain complex models in Power BI and Excel to support financial planning and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting or finance
  • Desire to obtain a CPA/CFA, or other relevant professional designation
  • 2+ years of experience in Financial Analysis
  • Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with evolving business needs and deadlines
  • Detail oriented with excellent ability to manage large amounts of data, including via Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter, able to handle multiple demands & competing priorities while engaging as a team-player
  • Ability to prioritize tasks with competing deadlines and display a sense of urgency around month-end deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to new processes and system solutions to best support our growing business segment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Mature attitude and ability to deal effectively in a team environment and exhibit strong business ethics
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (written, oral and listening)
