Data Engineer

We’re seeking a Data Engineer to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain data sources and pipelines for consumption by various analytical and business units. You will collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable data sets accessible by developers and analysts. Automate, document, and improve existing manual processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), business, or related field
• 5 years of professional experience in a data engineering or equivalent role
• 3 years of experience using SQL in daily activities
• 3 of experience working with various relational databases
• 1 year of experience using a BI tool (Tableau, PowerBI, etc)
• Preferred – 1 year of experience with dimensional modeling and ETL processes and tools
• 1 year of experience with other programming language(s) (Python, Java etc)
